Shift: Days, 3×12 (06:00–18:30)
Weekly Pay: $2360
Hours: 36 hours/week (facility may call off up to 3 times per contract)
Position Overview
The Interventional Radiology RN will support a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital, providing high-quality patient care during IR procedures. This role requires strong critical-thinking skills, the ability to work independently, and prior IR experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology RN experience
- Active NM or Compact RN License (pending accepted)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
- First-time travelers: Not accepted
- Must live 75+ miles from the facility
- RTO: More than 7 days requires manager approval
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
- Provide patient care pre-, during, and post-procedure
- Monitor patients under sedation
- Maintain sterile technique and procedure readiness
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, anesthesia, and nursing teams
- Float within scope if needed
