Job Details:
• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab providing care to both acute inpatient and elective outpatient populations
• Position and immobilize patients on examining table following specified protocols
• Perform continuous assessment of patient hemodynamics
• Administer conscious sedation and manage IV/IC infusions
• Alert physicians to changes in patient responses and assist in interventional procedures
• Manage patient recovery to Phase I
• On-call coverage required 1-2 nights per week as needed
• Weekend coverage required every 4 weeks
• Staff available 24/7 for emergency procedures during off hours, weekends, and holidays
• 2+ years current Cath Lab experience required
• 2+ years experience in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures required
• STEMI and STEMI call experience required
• Proficiency in interpreting EKG and hemodynamic pressure tracings required
• Conscious sedation and IV experience required
• Moderate sedation certification highly preferred
• EP experience highly preferred
• EPIC experience preferred as facility is transitioning to EPIC system
• Must have reliable transportation (own vehicle required)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Current New York license required
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color with no designs or cartoons, no hoodies
• 8-hour non-billable orientation required
• Must complete training from Welle or CPI for onboarding and clearance
• Maximum 5 days requested time off accepted during assignment

The facility maintains 24/7 emergency coverage and serves both inpatient and outpatient populations with advanced cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
