ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Pasadena, Texas.

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work in 25-bed emergency department with patient ratios of minimum 4:1, maximum 5:1
• Work with rapid infuser, vein finders, TTM machines, CVP and Arterial lines, bedside ultrasound, and warming equipment
• Use ED Medi-tech EMR system
• Minimum one year emergency department experience required
• Required certifications: TNCC, ENPC, PALS, ACLS, BLS, CPI/TIC
• BSN or higher degree preferred
• CEN certification or any additional certification is a plus
• Perform procedures including thoracotomy, arterial line and CVP readings, ultrasound IV placement, target temperature management, and critical medication drips with titration
• Weekend rotational schedule required
• No floating to other units
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork, critical thinking skills, and customer service abilities
• Initial onboarding includes training on attendance policies, age-specific management, sepsis, STEMI and stroke guidelines, trauma management, behavioral health management, and emergency codes

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with 25 beds and 65 full-time equivalent staff members. The facility provides advanced emergency care services with modern equipment and technology to support critical care needs. The department maintains structured staffing patterns for both day and night shifts with assistant nurse managers, registered nurses, emergency medical technicians, and unit secretaries to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
