Travel Nurse Job Details

- Unit: Resource Pool – Med/Surg Telemetry
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/30/2025 – End: 2/28/2026)
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750 – $1,800
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state
- At least 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend/holiday as needed
- Completion of all onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, health screenings, competency testing)
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
