Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details
- Location: Des Moines, IA 50314
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 7, 2025
- End Date: March 7, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
- Unit: Resource Pool
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,630 - $1,750
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) setting
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday as needed
- Compliance with all onboarding requirements, including background check, drug screen, health screenings, competency testing, and required documentation
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and operate telemetry equipment as required
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and healthcare policies
