- Shift: Night Shift, 5x8-hour shifts (Friday–Monday, 9:00pm–7:00am)
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2390–$2570
- On Call: Not required
- EMR System: Epic
- Scrub Colors: Navy and white combinations
MRI Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent MRI Technologist experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine License with injection certification (required at time of application)
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT (R) certification
- Proficiency with Epic EMR charting system
- Demonstrated skills in Adult Acute Care, Outpatient, Abdomen, Breast, Chest, Brain, Face/soft tissue neck, Diffusion Imaging, Gradient Echo Imaging, Image post-processing, Multiplanar reconstruction, Perfusion, Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic MRI
- Experience operating GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba MRI equipment
- Ability to float to other radiology units as needed
- Willingness to work scheduled holidays
- Travel candidates only (must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Rochester, NY)
MRI Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans for adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain MRI equipment (GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba)
- Accurately document patient records using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response services
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Complete hospital orientation and required training modules prior to start date
- Float to other radiology units as required by hospital needs
