Med/Surg RN Job Details

- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 3x12 hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights), every other weekend, holidays/on-call/callback/charge as needed

- Setting: Level II Med/Surg Float Pool
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,990 - $2,130 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Commitment to complete the full 13-week travel nursing assignment
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients across multiple Med/Surg units
- Float between specialized units, adapting to diverse clinical environments and patient populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Take on expanded roles as needed, including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member duties
- Demonstrate service excellence and a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
