Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
- Monitor patient status and respond to obstetric emergencies with clinical expertise
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postnatal care best practices
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and uphold hospital safety standards
