Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details
- Location: Milton, MA 02186 (Greater Boston area)
- Healthcare Setting: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float Pool
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (12/9/2025 – 3/7/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (every other weekend required)
- Hours: 36 hours per week (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,310 - $2,470
- Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Current and active Massachusetts RN license (required)
- 2-3 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications (required)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR (required)
- Ability to pass ECG/Telemetry and medication competency tests during orientation
- Experience with ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, and post-STEMI care
- CCRN certification preferred
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)
- No time off will be considered for this contract
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and manage IV drips, including vasoactive and sedative agents
- Perform ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Recognize and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and provide post-STEMI care
- Accurately document all care and interventions in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float within the Med/Surg Telemetry pool as needed
