- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour day shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2030–$2180
- Call Requirements: Weekday call (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM); Weekend call (7:00 AM Saturday – 7:00 AM Monday); 1-2 weekends of call per 6-week schedule
- Holiday Blackout Dates: 11/27–11/28 and 12/21–1/3
- Scrubs: Hospital provided
Cath Lab RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Experience with McKesson Cardiology and Cerner EMR systems
- Ability to float to the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab as needed
- Strong troubleshooting, detail orientation, and communication skills
- Preferred: Experience in structural heart procedures, scrubbing, or cardiac monitoring
Registered Nurse Responsibilities – Cardiac Cath Lab
- Deliver direct patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures (1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio)
- Operate and troubleshoot GE X-ray systems and Cath Lab equipment
- Accurately document procedures and patient information using McKesson Cardiology and Cerner EMR
- Participate in call rotation and respond promptly to emergent cardiac cases
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality cardiac care
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment
- Float to the EP Lab as required
