Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Navigator (RN) with prior travel experience and an active MA RN license for a day shift oncology role.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team in a hospital-based setting
Patient population includes adults with cancer at various stages across the continuum of care
No weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities
Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00am to 4:30pm
Facilitate assessment and navigation for cancer patients, coordinating care across treatment, survivorship, chronic management, or end-of-life care
Identify and address barriers to care by connecting patients and families with hospital or community resources
Collaborate with physicians and support staff to educate and empower patients to improve treatment adherence and outcomes
Provide individualized support, anticipatory guidance, and advocacy for patients and their caregivers
Must submit two supervisory references and a completed skills checklist for consideration

Requirements

Active MA RN license required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Oncology nursing experience preferred
Recent experience in navigation, case management, or care coordination strongly recommended
