Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with telemetry skills for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring Cardizem and Amiodarone drip experience.

Responsibilities

Hospital-based Med/Surg unit with mixed acuity levels, including stepdown care
39-bed facility with primarily elderly patients, minimum age 18
RN patient ratios are 4:1 or 5:1 depending on acuity
12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week
Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
Care may include telemetry monitoring and management of Cardizem and Amiodarone drips
No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
Responsibilities include managing a mixed-acuity patient population and coordinating care for complex cases
Holiday coverage is rotated among staff

Requirements

Active NH or Compact RN license with proof of state residency
Minimum 1.5 years recent equivalent Med/Surg experience
Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years
Experience with telemetry and administration of Cardizem and Amiodarone drips required
Current BLS certification
