Job Details – Med/Surg RN Travel Contract
- Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Denton, Texas 76210 (Dallas-Fort Worth area)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
- Start Date: December 22, 2025
- End Date: March 23, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,260 - $1,350

Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff for optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
