- Location: Farmville, VA 23901 (Virginia nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (1/26/2026 – 4/25/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: SCH Emergency Room
- Shift: 12-hour evenings (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site
- Start Dates: Orientations every other Monday
Emergency Room RN Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (ER nurse jobs)
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Active Virginia or Compact RN License
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (all current)
- Required Trauma Certification: ATCN, TNCC, or ATLS
- ENPC certification preferred
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- All requested time off must be submitted with application
- Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible
ER RN Responsibilities – Clinical Support
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients, responding rapidly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner EMR
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
