Title: Pharmacist Inpatient
Location: Napa, CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 4×10-hour shifts (variable start times 6:30 AM–8:30 PM)

Job Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient/acute care pharmacy services for adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Prepare and compound intravenous medications, including antibiotics, chemotherapy*, TPN*, antineoplastic agents*, and sterile preparations.
Perform medication dosing and clinical assessments including anticoagulants, cardiac dosing*, renal dosing*, geriatric/pediatric dosing*, pharmacokinetics*, and therapeutic monitoring.
Support pharmacotherapy management across multiple clinical areas (cardiovascular, pulmonary, infectious disease*, neurology, renal, endocrine, psychiatric, oncology*, GI, GU, etc.).
Dispense medications using Pyxis systems and maintain accurate records.
Complete inventory and override reports as needed.
Rotate weekends and weekdays; float between like units as required.
Work in a compounding and inpatient pharmacy environment.

Required & Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience required.
Certifications/Licensure: PharmD or RPh; state license required; BCPS* and BLS* preferred.
Travel experience: Required.
Charting: Epic preferred.
Patient experience: Preferred experience with neonates, infants, and pediatrics.
