Location: Danvers, MA 01923
Schedule: Monday–Thursday (Closed Fridays)
Orientation: Biweekly – 12/15, 12/29, and ongoing
Dress Code: Any color scrubs
Travel Distance: No local travelers (must live 50+ miles from facility)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Op / Post-Op RN to join a busy day-surgery center in Danvers, MA. This role includes admitting pre-operative patients and recovering post-operative patients. The facility performs a wide variety of same-day surgeries with no overnight procedures.
Schedule Details:
- Week 1: Three 9-hour shifts
- Week 2: Three 9-hour shifts + one 8-hour shift
- Hours vary based on assignment:
- 6:15 AM start
- 7:00 AM start
- 8:00 AM start
- Monday–Thursday only (Friday closed)
Required Certifications (AHA Required):
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- IV Certification (must have for Pre/Post-Op)
Candidates must have all certifications active at the time of submission.
Experience Requirements:
- Strong Pre-Op and Post-Op experience
- Skilled in IV insertion, patient assessment, and post-anesthesia recovery
- Familiarity with fast-paced day-surgery workflows
- Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) for 6+ months and in good standing (perm, per diem, or contract)
Additional Information:
- No local travelers will be considered (must live 50+ miles away).
- Biweekly orientation dates: 12/15, 12/29, and onward.
- Day-surgery only—no overnights.
