- Contract Duration: 13 weeks

- Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880–$2,020
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
- Electronic Medical Record: Epic EMR
PCU Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or eligibility to obtain
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Neuro-Progressive Care, Stepdown, or ICU nursing
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Successful completion of a Neuro-Progressive competency exam upon offer
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Applicants from select local counties may not be eligible for this travel nurse job
PCU Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Neurology Progressive Care Unit
- Monitor and assess neurological status, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
- Accurately document all care provided using Epic EMR
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff
