- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 – $1,800
- Parking: Free parking available in lot and garage
- Scrub Color: Black scrubs or facility T-shirt; surgery scrubs provided as needed
- Charting System: Cerner EMR
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or compact state (WV RN license)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience (Med/Surg RN experience)
- Ability to float to various Med/Surg units as needed
- Must complete facility modules and required lab work within 72 hours of contract signing
- Travel nurses only (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible)
- Experience in a teaching hospital or trauma center preferred
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical float pool environment
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process
- Document all care accurately using Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
- Adapt to various Med/Surg units and diverse patient populations as assigned
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and foster a positive healthcare team environment
