About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Interventional Radiologist to perform minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures for lower-limb vascular conditions, collaborating with podiatrists and wound-care specialists. This part-time role is ideal for an IR physician seeking flexibility while contributing high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform procedures such as peripheral angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis, and embolization for lower extremity vascular conditions.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging (ultrasound, CT, MRI) to plan and guide interventions.
- Work with podiatrists and wound-care teams to manage chronic limb ischemia, diabetic foot conditions, and venous insufficiency.
- Consult with patients about procedures, risks, and post-procedure care.
- Ensure radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
- Document all procedures, outcomes, and billing details.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in interventional radiology and limb salvage techniques.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree, board-certified (or eligible) in Interventional Radiology.
- Fellowship training in vascular or peripheral interventions preferred.
- Valid medical license to practice in Illinois.
- Experience in vascular interventions and wound-care collaboration is a plus.
- Excellent technical, communication, and teamwork skills.
