Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT (M) and BLS certifications for a busy outpatient clinic.
Responsibilities
- Fast-paced outpatient clinic with a daily caseload of approximately 65 mammograms
- Responsible for performing a minimum of 20 screening mammograms per day
- Work schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Float to sister facilities within scope may be required
- Epic EMR is used in this setting
- Screening and diagnostic mammograms performed
- Experience operating Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment is required
- First-time travelers are accepted
- A positive attitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills are essential
- Unit orientation is held at the work site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Modules must be completed pre-start
- Previous permanent staff (including PRN) are eligible after a 1-year separation
- A radius rule of 60 miles applies; locals considered on a case-by-case basis
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted up front and is subject to facility approval
- Scrub tops in any shade of pink or dark teal with black bottoms are required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required
- Active ARRT (M) certification and BLS certification required (AHA only)
- SCRQSA (M) SC state license required; must be in hand prior to start
- Proficiency operating Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension mammography equipment required
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- SSN and Driver’s License required for consideration
- License required if applicable
