PACU RN Job Details
- Location: Tucson, Arizona 85748
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (10/27/2025 – 1/26/2026)
- Shift: 4x10 hour days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: 10-12 days of call in a 6-week period
- Floating: May be required to float to other units as needed
- EMR: Cerner
- Scrub Color: Any color
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1510 - $1620
PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to float to other nursing units as needed
PACU RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Apply the nursing process in compliance with the Arizona Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing nursing education and training
- Delegate and supervise patient care tasks based on staff qualifications and experience
- Demonstrate leadership and prioritize patient care effectively in a fast-paced PACU environment
