Travel Nurse Job Details

- Shift: 4 day / 9.5 hour shift - 7AM-5PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- STEMI On-Call: Yes (STEMI response required)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – Required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent critical care nursing experience required
- At least 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience preferred
Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric through geriatric populations in the Cath Lab
- Demonstrate advanced clinical skills in direct patient care, cardiac procedures, and emergency response
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, procedures, and progress
- Foster a professional, courteous, and patient-centered healthcare environment
- Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocols
- Utilize safe patient transfer techniques and proper body mechanics
- Individualize patient care based on procedure type and anesthesia requirements
- Educate patients and families about cardiac procedures and post-operative care
- Support Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) and evaluate physician orders for appropriateness
- Participate in STEMI on-call rotation as part of the Cath Lab nursing team
