- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 12, 2026 – End: April 13, 2026)
- Location: Philadelphia, PA 19141
- Healthcare Setting: Hospital
- Shift: Night shift, 5x8-hour shifts per week (16:00 – 00:00)
- On-Call: 1–2 nights per week (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM) and every 5th weekend (24 hours Sat/Sun)
- Weekend Requirement: Friday as part of M-F schedule and on-call as above
- Orientation: 80 hours
MRI Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
- Valid ARRT (R) (MR) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Philips MRI scanners preferred
- Previous charge technologist, community hospital, and Trauma Level I experience preferred
- PA state license not required for this Philadelphia healthcare job
- Experience with Centricity charting system preferred
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Must complete PA fingerprints and Childline clearance if not completed within the past 5 years
- First-time travel MRI Technologists welcome!
Key Responsibilities for MRI Technologist
- Perform high-quality MRI scans for patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Operate Philips MRI scanners and utilize Centricity charting system for clinical documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary radiology and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Follow hospital protocols, including isolation precautions and safety standards
- Perform advanced imaging procedures: diffusion, gradient echo imaging, multiplanar reconstruction, and image post-processing
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Deliver compassionate care and clear communication to patients and families
