Registered Nurse Job Details

- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN), On-Site

- End Date: March 14, 2026
- Contract Duration: 12 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: Day shifts, 0700-1530 or 0700-1730; options for 4x10 or 5x8 hour shifts
- On-Call: At least once per week and every fourth weekend (additional on-call available if desired)
- Holiday Schedule: On-call required for 12/24 evening/night
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,030 - $3,250
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (6 months to 3 years preferred in Cath Lab nursing or acute care)
- BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
- ACLS Certification
- Stroke education/NIHSS (Apex) completion
- Strong collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), CCRN certification, prior ambulatory or acute care experience
Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients
- Serve as primary or accountable nurse for assigned patients in the Cath Lab
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health, disease management, and post-procedure care
- Safely administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Promote a caring, healing environment and advocate for patient-centered care
- Participate in shared governance, quality improvement, and professional development initiatives
- Support onboarding of new staff and students; perform charge nurse or shift coordinator duties as needed
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies
