RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Work every other weekend
• Call requirements: Yes
• Float to other units as needed
• 2+ years of hospital experience required
• 2+ years of PCU/stepdown specialty experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Active RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Experience with MEDITECH preferred
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required
• Clean, healthy nails only - no artificial nails, gel, or extensions allowed
• Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; shoulder-length hair must be pulled back
• Body art should be covered when possible
• Visible piercings other than ears prohibited
• Provide care for progressive care unit patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Document patient care using MEDITECH system

This healthcare facility operates a progressive care unit on the 7th floor, providing specialized care for patients who require close monitoring but don't need intensive care services. The facility utilizes MEDITECH documentation systems and maintains high standards for patient care with telemetry monitoring capabilities. The organization follows comprehensive policies for attendance, floating, and professional appearance standards.
