Location: Lewiston, ME 04240

Start Date: December 1, 2025

Duration: 13 weeks (contract-based)

Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

EMR: EPIC Holiday Coverage: Required

Maximum Submissions per Job: 3

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs to join the night shift team at a high-acuity hospital in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves providing rapid assessment, stabilization, and care for patients across all age groups in a dynamic emergency setting. Candidates must be clinically skilled, emotionally resilient, and committed to delivering safe, efficient care.

Key Responsibilities

Triage and manage patients with varying levels of acuity
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergent situations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective treatment
Document care accurately using EPIC EMR
Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families

Qualifications

Active Maine RN license (must be currently valid)
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
At least 1 year of recent emergency or critical care experience required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and organizational skills
