Seven Healthcare is seeking a Travel Labor & Delivery RN for an assignment in Smyrna, TN. This role offers three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours) with a weekly pay rate of $1,900.

Key Responsibilities of the Labor & Delivery Travel Nurse
• Provide comprehensive care to patients throughout all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, including reading and interpreting fetal monitoring strips.
• Assist with inductions, pain management strategies, and epidural support.
• Support physicians and midwives during vaginal deliveries and obstetric procedures.
• Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies quickly and effectively.
• Educate patients and families on birth plans, postpartum expectations, and newborn care.
• Communicate clearly with obstetric teams, anesthesia providers, pediatrics, and other clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
Requirements for the Labor & Delivery Role
• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications; ACLS preferred.
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills in high-acuity situations.
