Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry day shift position, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a valid ME or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Hospital setting in a general Med/Surg unit with telemetry cases
Day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15
Assignment duration is 13 weeks
Patient population includes general Med/Surg and telemetry monitoring
Float policy requires potential floating within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed
No travel pairs or groups are allowed for this position
Returning candidates must disclose recent employment at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months
Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility will be considered local
Assignment does not allow for renewals or extensions for local travelers

Requirements

Active RN license in Maine or compact state required
Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
Current driver’s license required for consideration
