- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,990 - $2,130 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Maine or compact state
- At least 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Intermediate Care (IMC), or acute care nursing
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Strong clinical assessment and cardiac monitoring skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in a clinical setting
- Monitor, assess, and document cardiac patient status, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medical procedures, and recovery processes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
