Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a current MI license and at least two years of OR experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Operating Room department in a hospital setting
Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
13-week contract assignment
Care is provided for surgical patients in the OR
Will provide perioperative care including assisting with surgical procedures and maintaining sterile environments
Team-based environment focused on patient safety during operative procedures
Orientation will be provided prior to the start of assignment
Required to submit Nursys licensure verification at time of consideration
Must complete facility-specific candidate submission form and skills checklist

Requirements

Active MI RN license required
Minimum two years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
Current BLS certification required (RQI certifications not accepted)
Must provide Social Security number and date of birth for consideration
COVID vaccination card required
Cannot have worked as a permanent staff member at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility
Cannot be employed full time elsewhere
