We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Location: 425 5th Ave NW, Room 92, Attalla, AL 35954
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm CST with lunch from 12:30pm-1:00pm CST
Primary Responsibilities:

- Fillsprescriptionordersandmakesthemavailableforverificationunderdirectsupervisionofthe registered pharmacist
- Orders,receivesandstoresincomingpharmacysupplies
- Receivesandprocesseswholesalermedicationorders
- Verifiesmedicationstockandentersdataincomputertomaintaininventoryrecords
- WorkswiththePharmacisttoassistinthepharmacyfunctionsandkeepingthepharmacyincompliance withallfederalandstaterequirements
- Performsvariousclericaldutiesrelatingtothedepartment
- Communicateswithstrongprofessionalverbalandwrittencommunicationskills
- Otherdutiesasassigned

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
