Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Goodyear, AZ 85395 (Phoenix metro area)
- Assignment Length: 8-13 weeks
- Start Date: 12/15/2025 (or any Monday thereafter)
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Unit: Med/Surg 231
- Number of Beds: 28-bed medical-surgical unit
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4 (telemetry), 1:5 (med/surg)
- Charting System: Cerner EMR
- Scrub Color: Navy blue
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1280 - $1370 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (Arizona or compact state)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
- Strong clinical skills in post-procedure care, stent management, sepsis, respiratory failure, COVID care, and renal failure
- Ability to float to ED holds and similar acuity units as needed
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to diverse patients in a 28-bed medical-surgical unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered
- Support patients recovering from procedures, stents, sepsis, respiratory and renal failure, and COVID-19
- Float to ED holds and other units as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
