Travel RN Job Details
- Location: Hyannis, MA (Cape Cod) – Massachusetts healthcare opportunity
- Facility: Acute Care Hospital – CCH Float Pool
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/19/2026 – End: 4/18/2026)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am), every other weekend and holiday
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Floating: Potential to float between CCH & FH campuses
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care hospital (within the last 2 years)
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Telemetry nursing experience required
- Must pass CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia Exams prior to start date
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Preferred: Experience with cardiac, post-surgical, oncology, dialysis, orthopedic, and neuro patients
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses in a telemetry setting
- Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Document comprehensive assessments, including physical, psychological, and social dimensions, as well as discharge planning
- Serve as a resource for patient care, orientation, and staff education
- Demonstrate proficiency in computerized nursing informatics and electronic health records
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold hospital and nursing standards
- Float between Med/Surg, cardiac, oncology, surgical, dialysis, orthopedic, and neuro units as needed
