- Floating: Yes, to other PCU and telemetry units

PCU RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit nursing experience
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to float to other PCU and telemetry units as needed
PCU Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform clinical treatments
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and patient care technicians
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
- Participate in unit procedures and adhere to hospital guidelines and policies
