- Start Date: December 1, 2025
- End Date: March 2, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Shift: 4 x 10-hour shifts/week (start times: 5:30am, 6:30am, or 7:30am)
- On Call: 1 call/week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks; 30-minute response time
- Scrubs: Ceil Blue (provided)
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,840 - $3,050
Cath Lab RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or compact state
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (NLN or AACN preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Ability to meet 30-minute response time for on-call shifts
- Must badge in and out at facility
Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation during cardiac procedures
- Circulate in a sterile environment and assist with cardiac and vascular procedures, including:
- Left and right heart catheterizations
- PCIs (Percutaneous Coronary Interventions)
- Pacemaker insertions (temporary and permanent)
- ICDs (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators)
- EP (Electrophysiology) procedures
- TEEs (Transesophageal Echocardiograms) and cardioversions
- Venous ablations and peripheral vascular angiograms
- Operate advanced medical equipment: Pyxis, Philips XIM, Epic, Xcelera, ultrasounds, Angiojets, EKOS machines, Acist contrast injection system
- Maintain a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio for optimal cardiac care
- Participate in a comprehensive orientation program tailored to your Cath Lab RN experience
