Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with NJ State RT License, ARRT, and BLS certification for a hospital-based role utilizing Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

Position is based in a hospital radiology department
Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotation
40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts
Travelers may be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
Uses Epic charting system
Performs imaging and treatment processes in accordance with professional guidelines
Operates and maintains various imaging equipment and ensures patient safety and comfort
Coordinates daily imaging procedures and monitors the need for revisions
Holiday coverage is required as part of the rotation
Assignment duration may not exceed one calendar year before a 30-60 day break is required prior to returning

Requirements

Active NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) License required if applicable
ARRT certification required
BLS certification required
Graduate of an accredited radiography school
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no locals accepted)
