Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 2 years of IR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an interventional radiology unit focused on diverse image-guided procedures
- Uses Siemens imaging equipment
- Preferred experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
- Day shift, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off
- Call required: one primary weekday and one backup weekday per month, plus one weekend every 6 weeks alternating between primary and backup
- Perform interventional radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Maintain and manage patient records, with EPIC experience preferred
- Must be available to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly after contract signing
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- Former employees are eligible if not employed within the last 6 months; current employees are not eligible to travel at this facility
- All time off requests must be submitted in advance and built into the contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in interventional radiology
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Proficient in operating Siemens imaging equipment
- Preferred experience with EPIC EMR
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or formal leadership capacity
- License required if applicable
