Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced ICU RN to float within critical care units, requiring a MA RN license and two or more years of ICU and level 1 trauma experience.

Responsibilities

Assignment is within the critical care float pool of a hospital setting
Rotating 12-hour shifts with both day and night shifts required
Every third weekend work required
Patient population includes critical and trauma cases
Float position covering various medical ICU units
Level 1 trauma environment
Passing Tele/ECG and medication tests may be required
Weekly orientation sessions available every Monday except holidays
High acuity environment with rotating assignments among critical care units
Parking in the Boston area may cost up to $43 per day
All requests for time off must be submitted prior to offer

Requirements

Active MA RN license required prior to consideration
Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU and level 1 trauma experience required
COVID-19 vaccination and booster, and seasonal flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed)
Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
All previous employees must have a minimum 6-month break before returning
