Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC
- Ability to float within the ICU discipline across local campuses
- Submission of resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, certifications, and at least 1 supervisory reference
- Proof of taxable address outside of 50 miles from Sioux City healthcare facility
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
- Administer medications and perform advanced nursing procedures
- Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
- Participate in unit-based initiatives and quality improvement activities
- Float to other ICU units within the same discipline as needed
