Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Yuma, AZ 85364 (Arizona nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Med/Surg Telemetry (2 West Unit, 90 double occupancy beds)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Typically 2 out of 3 holidays
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (Arizona or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of registered nurse experience, including at least 1 year in Med/Surg Telemetry
- Recent clinical experience in a Level I or II trauma hospital
- Proficiency with Epic EMR (electronic medical records)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to float to Med/Surg, low acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills clinic RDU as needed
- Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during assignment
RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with pneumonia, COPD, acute kidney injury, post-surgical needs, and other medical conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient status using Epic EMR
- Administer medications and manage non-titrated drips (heparin, lasix)
- Utilize respiratory therapy equipment such as Bipap and care for stable tracheostomy patients
- Work alongside patient care assistants and dedicated monitor technicians
- Participate in orientation and ongoing nursing education
- Adapt to floating assignments within the healthcare facility as needed
