Oncology RN Job Details
- Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska (Nebraska nursing jobs)
- Healthcare Setting: Infusion Center (14 infusion chairs + 3 Fast Track chairs)
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1990 - $2130 per week
- Contract Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract (Start: 11/3/2025 – End: 2/2/2026)

Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Oncology RN or Infusion RN
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ONS/ANCC Certification (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- ACLS Certification (Required)
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work collaboratively with oncology healthcare providers
Oncology Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate nursing care to oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and supportive treatments
- Administer non-chemotherapy infusions for autoimmune diseases, iron replacement, and blood products
- Monitor patient acuity and adjust care plans using the acuity scale
- Collaborate with oncology providers and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
- Ensure safe, accurate medication administration and thorough documentation
- Support patients and families throughout their oncology treatment journey
