Key Job Details – ER RN Travel Assignment
- Location: Holyoke, MA 01040 – Pioneer Valley, Western Massachusetts (90 miles west of Boston)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, includes 30-minute lunch)
- Setting: Emergency Department, including locked behavioral health unit
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing (W2)
Estimated Weekly Pay
- Estimated weekly pay: $1,860 - $2,000
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license (MA emergency and pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
- At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment completed (first-time travelers considered; indicate status)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI (on-site training provided), PALS
- Preferred: TNCC, ENPC or PALSS
- Preferred: Previous charge nurse experience and Trauma Level I experience
ER RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including adults and pediatrics
- Perform triage, assessment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Administer and monitor procedural and continuous IV sedation
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Care for ventilated patients and respond to rapid response situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy
- Provide care within a locked behavioral health unit (12-bed capacity)
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in 28-hour orientation and ongoing professional development
