Orthopedic RN Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical or Orthopedic nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Illinois nursing jobs
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from facility
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a healthcare setting
Orthopedic Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to orthopedic and surgical patients
- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Administer medications, treatments, and post-operative care
- Educate patients and families on recovery, rehabilitation, and orthopedic procedures
