Registered Nurse Job Details
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio (44195) – Ohio healthcare jobs
- Unit: H51 Colorectal Surgery – Med/Surg Telemetry
- Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/19/2025 – End: 3/20/2026)
- Shifts: Rotating Day/Night, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00am-7:30pm / 7:00pm-7:30am)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 – $2,310
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments
- 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (travel nursing experience accepted)
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State Registered Nurse license required
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all must be current and active)
- One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Telemetry
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
- Ability to work at least every other holiday
Travel RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Float to other hospital units as needed to support clinical operations
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
