Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and a current Rad Tech license.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a cardiac catheterization lab working with adult cardiac cases
- Responsibilities include Cath Lab scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating for heart caths, pacemaker procedures, STEMI calls, and balloon pump interventions
- Schedule options include 4x10 hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM or 8:45 AM – 7:15 PM) or 3x12s as arranged
- Epic EMR experience is preferred
- 50 mile radius rule applies for travel pay rates
- Locals are accepted at a local rate
- Duties include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in a cardiac catheterization environment
- Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of accepting offer
- Modules are completed during orientation and recorded via e-learning
- Return staff/travelers must have been gone for at least one year before reapplying
- Only one holiday is approved for time off
- Background and DUI history must be disclosed prior to consideration
Requirements
- Active California Rad Tech license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross required
- Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab technologist experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Must provide two supervisor references obtained within the past year
