Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a night shift pediatric-focused assignment requiring ARRT certification and Epic EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital MRI department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Primary patient population is pediatric, including neonates, but also includes adults, stroke, and trauma cases
- Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment, operating 1.5T and 3T magnets
- Four 10-hour night shifts per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
- No on-call requirements
- Role will include floating to qualified units or campuses as required by facility staffing needs
- 1-year minimum experience with Epic EMR system required
- Role involves conducting a high volume of pediatric MRI procedures
- Must be comfortable providing MRI scans for diverse ages, including neonates and pediatric critical care cases
- Orientation will be provided, with module training required pre-assignment
- Up to 16 hours for pre-assignment modules is reimbursable upon contract start
- Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; 100+ miles preferred for full pay rate
- Expect collaborative team environment focused on pediatric care
- Compliance with facility floating policy for qualified allied health professionals
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification required (ARMRIT not accepted)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience as an MRI Technologist
- Strong pediatric MRI experience required; prior Children's Hospital experience preferred
- Proficiency in scanning pediatric, neonatal, stroke, and trauma patients
- Experience with both GE and Siemens MRI scanners
- License required if applicable
