Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680 - $1800
Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Gallatin, TN 37066 (near Hendersonville, close to Nashville)
- Assignment Type: Travel RN Contract
- Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/17/2025 – End: 2/16/2026)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Orientation: Weekly, on Mondays
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Tennessee or compact state)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Proficient IV insertion skills required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Ability to float to Med/Surg units as needed
- Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to start
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry readings and changes in patient condition
- Perform IV insertions and administer medications using Omnicell dispensing system
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to other Med/Surg units as required for clinical support
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff
