- Start Date: December 9, 2025
- End Date: March 10, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30), 3 shifts/week
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1350 - $1380
- Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital
- Unit: Overflow (Med/Telemetry)
- Charting System: EPIC
- Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (pending license accepted)
- Minimum 18 months recent Telemetry/Acute Care RN experience (2 years preferred)
- Experience with Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Cardiac Telemetry
- Proficient in managing vasoactive drips and stroke patients
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start)
- Ability to float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles as needed
- Two professional references from recent managers or supervisors in specialty
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- All RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at time of submission
RN Responsibilities – Clinical Support
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry Overflow patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias
- Administer cardiac drips (no titration), blood products, and oxygen therapy
- Care for stroke patients and those requiring non-invasive airway management
- Perform central and peripheral line care and management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document care using EPIC charting system
- Float to other units within scope as needed
- Complete time-sensitive modules prior to assignment start
