- Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (Telemetry RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (NOC)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Assignment Duration: 21 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 3/15/2026)
- Specialties: Telemetry, Same Day Surgery, Detox, Bone Marrow Transplant, Mental Health, IDD
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950 - $2090
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license (Registered Nurse – Illinois)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Intermediate Care nursing experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend (EOW)
- Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, delivering high-quality telemetry nursing care
- Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate nursing actions
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
