Travel Nursing Job Details

- Assignment Length: 13 weeks

- Unit: Operating Room (OR) – Circulating Nurse
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts with on-call rotation
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,420 - $2,600
- Start Date: December 8, 2025
- End Date: March 9, 2026
- Scrubs: Provided (Ceil Blue)
- Charting System: EPIC EMR
- Facility Details: 11 OR suites, 1 GI suite; 30-50 surgical cases per day
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active SD or compact state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an OR Circulating RN
- Strong orthopedic surgery experience required (total joints, arthroscopy)
- Robotics experience highly preferred (MAKO robot proficiency)
- Experience with spine, foot and ankle, hand, and ORIF procedures
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- Experience with general, ENT, GYN, and plastics surgical cases is a plus
- Must comply with facility badging and timekeeping procedures
OR Nurse Responsibilities
- Circulate in the Operating Room for orthopedic procedures, including total joints (MAKO), arthroscopy, spine, foot and ankle, hand, and ORIF surgeries
- Assist with general, ENT, GYN, and plastics cases as needed
- Operate advanced surgical technology, including the MAKO robotic system
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including dress code and security badging
